After earning her Batchelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Katherine entered the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and was awarded an M.F.A as part of the first graduating class in their Masters program.

In 1995, she began working under the tutelage of her father, master glass artist, Paul Stankard. Since then she has remained an essential collaborator in his work to date.

After 10 years of studio training, Katherine began creating her own pieces as part of the Stankard Studio team. She is now looking forward to carrying the Stankard Glass name into the future.

Katherine resides in Southern New Jersey.
